This typographic poster series examines how a visual design system can unify type and image to convey meaning and direct attention. By experimenting with hierarchy, composition, and time-based variation, I developed multiple solutions that highlight a person’s contributions and ideas while demonstrating clear and persuasive visual communication.
Research
Before anything else, research was conducted on each poet to determine what makes these three so special.
T.S. Eliot was a poet, essayist, and playwright who helped define modernist literature. His 1922 poem, "The Waste Land," broke traditional forms with fragmented imagery, layered voices, and cultural allusions. Through his exploration of faith, time, and human struggle, Eliot’s innovative style reshaped 20th-century writing and continues to influence literature today.
Code-DaVinci-002, developed by OpenAI, is an advanced AI model for generating natural language and code. Evolving from earlier GPT models, it assists with programming, debugging, and translating between coding languages. Its ability to handle both conversation and technical tasks made coding more accessible and efficient.
Andrea Abi-Karam is a poet and performer exploring queerness, resistance, and digital culture through bold, experimental forms. Their work blends urgency and vulnerability, challenging conventions while inspiring dialogue around activism, community, and self-expression.
